Thursday of New Beginnings | Pilanesburg

Isaiah 43:18-19

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” (Isaiah 43:18-19). God tells us, even in the Old Testament, that He is doing a new thing. A new thing is a good thing. He is making a WAY for us in the wilderness, He is giving us streams of living water in times we are in the wastelands.

There it is! Right on the pages of God’s Word we are told that we are being made new. We can choose to believe it and walk in that truth, or we can deny the power of God and His power to change even the deadest of hearts into hearts softened with love. He is making all things new, He is bringing the dead back to life!

Apostle Hoppings | New Beginnings

Let go of yesterday. Let today be a new beginning and be the best that you can, and you’ll get to where God wants you to be. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.

Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.

Lamentations 3:22-24 “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for hiscompassion never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, ‘“The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him’”(Lamentations 3:22-24).

Here we see the beauty of a new day. A new morning. New mercies awaiting us. We see that they are new every morning. Thus acknowledging that we are on this journey and it’s not a one time fix all. Today is a new day! Let’s be grateful! Join Apostle Hoppings, Son of Major 1 this weekend of New Beginnings. Your life will never be the same again…

ECG Launches Walvis Bay

Our homes need revival. Our churches need revival. Namibia and the rest of the world need revival. But no military power can bring revival. No economic upturn brings revival. And no election can bring revival.

Revival is the sovereign work of Almighty God.

Where many have no hope for revival, ECG has launched a branch in Walvis Bay, and Namibia will never be the same again. With so many success stories, Pastor Emily Guriras has embarked on evangelism that has seen a rapid growth of the Walvis Bay ECG.

The 4 months old branch is now a hub of wonders and a house of miracles. Major 1, the leader and founder of the ECG continues to enjoy the expansion of the ministry.

ECG Giyani Helps the Needy

Have you ever just stopped and thought about the current state of our world? If you haven’t, it would be wise for you to do so. When you turn on the news it seems all you see is pain; war, murder, infidelity, and crime are on every news report. This must be an opportunity to create an inspiring story that warms the hearts of many and give hope to those who have lost it due to living in this world.

Pastor Paul giving to the needy

2 Corinthians 9:6-8. Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

ECG Giyani is always outdoor being kind to the needy and honoring God. Pastor Paul and his team are always kind to the poor and busy lending to the Lord. May the good Lord reward them for what they have done. Through their generosity, may they be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.

Pastor Paul speaks…

ECG Giyani Pastor giving to one of the needy

The Bible does tell us to bless others as much as we can. Charity involves helping those who need it. Often times, it will be through giving tithes to a church or through handing someone in need some money. But, there are other ways to be charitable to the less fortunate, too. If we know someone in need, we can always buy the groceries, give some type of gift card, or pay for a bill that we know is coming up. My father in the Lord, Major 1 has commissioned me to work with the community and help those in need. We will not stop at this but soldier on till Jesus comes.

ECG Giyani New Church Building

The vision of the church is to build relationships and change lives in the numerous poor neighborhoods within communities in a given surrounding.

ECG Giyani

God’s vision is  to empower His servants within the church, the opportunity to serve the poor. Also, the Church’s vision is to empower the children of God in neighborhoods to serve and give back within their communities.

ECG vision includes planting new church’s, training pastors, teaching the gospel of God, building homes and church’s, sponsoring children to school, feeding breakfast to children each morning, offering periodic health and dental clinics, plus numerous other important service offerings to community members. Amazingly, Giyani branch is on course and in-line with this vision.

ECG Giyani Church Gathering

Pastor Paul Banda, the resident minister spoke to us about how God has graced him. “The church has advanced at a supersonic speed despite earlier challenges. I’m thankful to my spiritual father, Major 1 for giving me the grace to serve under him. God of Major 1 has given us a very big land for church construction and expansion. With over 4,000 members of Giyani, the sky is the limit as we see God’s grace unfolding day in and out.”

“I can say that we are the biggest church gathering in an area with more than 130 denominations. I thank all the sons and daughters of Major 1 who have enormously contributed to the construction of a modern building with 3,500 seating capacity. The next building we are embarking on is the ECG School and dispensary.” said Pastor Paul.

Pastor Paul Banda

It must be everyone’s desire to help build communities by constructing houses, schools, hospitals, and churches. ECG Giyani and Pastor Paul have projects to provide shelter for families who are less privileged, education opportunities to help break the cycle of poverty, facilities for physical and spiritual healing, and places to build up the body of Christ.

For so long now, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, the leader and founder of ECG has emphasized the need to help the needy as he demonstrates the same through his ‘Beacon of Hope’ program.

Worship is a Foundation of the Church

Worship is at the heart of all we do as Christians.  Whether as a worship leader or local preacher, or as a church steward responsible for a local arrangement in your church, we seek to do the best we can as we lead the people of God in worship.

Apostle Jimmy

The first ECG International Youth Director, Praise Director and first national Pastor Apostle Jimmy encourages the church to put worship the first thing just as our father Major 1 has planted the church on this foundation.

Major 1 is a worshiper and a composer who hears songs from heaven and passes them to his sons and daughters.

Apostle Jimmy speaks…

Psalm 71 is a great example of a personal expression of praise and prayer which is structured to teach us about principles of worship. It begins with an expression of trust in God as “rock and refuge”, but a plea for deliverance at a time of severe personal difficulty.

Later in the Psalm the writer refers to “many and bitter troubles”, but expresses faith that God will restore his life, bring him up “from the depths”, and bring back honor and comfort. The need to publicly declare God’s “marvelous deeds” and “mighty acts” is repeated several times, as the writer contemplates not only what God has done for him personally, but his character and rule over the world.

This hope in God has been a feature of his life since youth. He asks that this would continue through to old age

Character MUST be Good

Apostle Felixosis speaks: “If you have a good character, maintain it and never change.

Your CHARACTER determines the CALENDAR given at a specific position. Some people because of bad character stays at a great position for 360 days on a calendar while those with a good character can maintain it for a lifetime. Those with ears have heard.

How Majestic Is Your Name (Psalm 8:1-2)

“O LORD
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory
above the heavens.” (8:1)

3When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?
5You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings
and crowned him with glory and honor.” (8:3-5)
